,Is this walkable or is train better?

Will we need to take train or can we walk to:

Roskilde Cathedral (Domkirke)?

Viking Ship Museum?

Hamlet%26#39;s castle?

Will the CPH card be better as we%26#39;re planning to do all other tourist activities in CPH?

Thanks.

That really depends... where will you be walking from?

From downtown Copenhagen or Marriott area.

Also, are the little mermaid, Geftion Fountain, Kastellet walkable from the Marriott Hotel?

Distance between the palaces: Rosenborg and Amalienborg walkable?

Thanks.

You will have to take the train to Roskilde. It takes about 18 - 24 minutes from Copenhagen.

Furthermore You will have to take a train from Copenhagen to Helsingør (Elsinore). That will take about 45 minutes.

The Little Mermaid, Kastellet, Amalienborg, Rosenborg etc. is all in walking distance.

Or You can get a bike - there are free ones around the city.

Yes, I think a CPHCard is a good option for you. A 3-days card cost DKK 450. Transport from Copenhagen to Roskilde and back, Copenhagen to Helsingor and back is DKK 357. Entrance to some of the places is also included: Tivoli (DKK 85/125), Round Tower (DKK 25), Rosenborg Castle (DKK 70), Roskilde Cathedral (DKK 25).

thanks so much.

Well, we have a special package with the Marriott that includes Tivoli.

Basically, as we will be walking for the most part, the only time we will need transportation would be for the train to see the Viking Ships museum, the Cathedral, Hamslet castle.

In this case, is the CPH card worth it for 2 adults and 2 kids under 10 yrs old?

|||

If you only want to see The Cathedral, Viking Ship Museum and Kronborg (Hamlets Castle), then the Copenhagen Card would be to expensive. Dkk 900 for two adults, and children under 10.

If you use single tickets for the train the cost would be about 672 dkk. If you instead bye a 10-ticket the price will be about 390 - 405 dkk.

The Cathedral will be indkluded in the Copenhagen Card - worth 80 dkk.

However if you want to see Rosenborg (140), The Round Tower (60) and maybee one more thing in Copenhagen, then the card would be a good thing. You wont have to think about, whether or not to see the atraction - you can just go inside.

So its basically up to you to do the final math. :-)

Great!

Does the CPH card cover the train to Viking Museum and Hamlet Castle?

Thanks.

Yea, transport to Roskilde and Helsingor is included in CPH Card.

You can see ALL that%26#39;s included in the CPH Card in the link I gave you above.
