Copenhagen Apartment Rental - Short term (2 weeks)

I would like to rent an apartment in central Copenhagen for two weeks in the late summer or early fall. I will be travelling with three young children and the idea of renting a place with a kitchen (or more space than a hotel) seems more appealing to me.

Do any websites list apartment/short term vacation rentals in Copenhagen?

That is not all that common in Copenhagen. However this very modern place called Adina have excactly what you need and is well situated. But RIGHT in the center but you are able to walk anywhere... Or take trains from the station oppersite:

Hay4You does short term lets and I%26#39;ve always been very happy with the flats and their service. All of their flats are in the city center area - the exact location depends upon which flats are available. A one bedroom (most would have a pull out bed) start at about 3500 kr per week.

Each flat is different because they rent out flats belonging to Copenhageners who are away from home for a long period of time. I would let them know that you have kids because they might have a flat from a family that would appeal to you. You might want to ask about bathrooms, because most of the flats do not seem to have bathtubs - just showers. I suspect this is because of a lack of space and the difficulty of adapting plumbing in old buildings.

Their website is www.hay4you.dk

Thanks for the advice. I had sent a request to the Hay4you website a week ago and I have still not received a reply.

Am I inquiring too many weeks in advance? Do the locals post their apartments closer to the summer season? I thought I would be wise to look into this ahead of time. Perhaps, I need to wait another month. Unlike other European cities, the popular VRBO website did not have too many apartments listed.

Are there any other websites I should try?

It looks expensive, but I will inquire about these apartments. Thanks.

Hay4You generally reply quickly, so you might want to try again in case your e-mail didn%26#39;t make it or got misplaced.

Usually they work about 6 weeks ahead of time, because that%26#39;s when they tend to know what they will have available. Sometimes they can do things farther in advance, depending on the availability of flats and if you contact them more than 6 weeks in advance, they%26#39;ll generally note your request and get back to you when they have options.

So perhaps they haven%26#39;t replied because it%26#39;s too far in advance. Again, I%26#39;ve never had any problems with them and their rates are excellent, so it might be worth a bit of patience.
