Travel from Odense from Copehagen

I wanted to get some updated advice on train travel to odense. Also, any recommendations on inexpensive hotels.

Train tickets in 2nd class are now around 240 DKR from Copenhagen to Odense. The trip takes between one and a half and two hours.

There are plenty of hotels to choose from in Odense but none of them are anything special. If you are satisfied with a room on the small side go for the new CabInn Hotel at the train station. Single rooms start at 485 kroner (doubles sometimes avialable at the same price). Free internet, free coffee and tea, tv and bath room. Breakfast: 60 DKR. Good deal.
