Freedom ticket + 24-hour CPH card - best deal for tourists?

I%26#39;m still debating whether I should get a CPH card for 24 hours or 72 hours, as my family of 4 are there for 1 1/2 days only, it seems a waste of money to get a 3-day pass. Our flight arrives at noon. It seems that by getting a taxi from the airport to Marriott is cheaper than getting an extra day on the CPH card. I just realized that the Hop-on-hop-off bus stop and the DFDS waterbus stop are just outside Marriott, should be convenient to use for visiting top attractions like Little Mermaid, Gefion Fountain, Stroget, Nyhavn, etc.

DFDS Canal Tours offers a DKK220 2-day ticket (The Freedom Ticket) that includes all waterbuses, guided canal tours and Open Top HOHO buses, is it a good deal for tourists? Does anyone know if we can get discount if we show them the CPH card? I know they give 20% discount for their 1-day ticket. The only drawback is their last boat arrives at Nyhavn at 6:40 %26amp; we still need to get back to the hotel after dinner. Is it too far to walk back to Marriott from Nyhavn, is it safe, or should we buy the clipcard, how many zone is it? Local or expert advice is needed.

Can I buy the CPH card at the hotel? Do they give discount? Where to I go to buy the Freedom Ticket? Can everything be done at the airport (which counter?) and will there be a long line?

An amazing amount of questions ;)

I do not think the CPH card is a good deal for any trip, where you don%26#39;t plan many visits to Tivoli and several daytrips outside of Copenhagen that can be expensive in public transport.

Thats just my opinion.

You can bue the Copenhagen Card at the airport either at the service desk on the right hand side as you exit the customs area into terminal 3 - where every passenger arrives from international flights.

Or at the ticket office at the train station at the end of the same terminal.

Impossible to know if there%26#39;s a long line at either place.

The DFDS ticket can be bought on the boat - and problably at you hotel too (as can the CPH Card).

And no it%26#39;s not a long walk from Nyhavn to the hotel - about 20-25 minutes and quite safe.

By public transport you%26#39;d be looking at the same traveltime.

You can look the connection at night up here:

www.rejseplanen.dk

English flag at the bottom - just enter Nyhavn and Copenhagen Marriott hotel.

You need a ticket - or clip for 2 zones for the trip.

If your kids are under 11 two kids travel for free with an adult.

A taxi would be affordable too.

Thank you for your advice!

I%26#39;ll do the math again and see if a 24-hour CPH card is worth all the entrance fees we have to pay within 1 day.

I guess my half day will be for canal rides %26amp; Carlsberg Brewery which are not covered by the CPH card.

we are also debating to buy either a CPH 72 hr card or a Freedom Ticket (48hr) which allows use of Ho HO buses, and Waterbuses (incl guided tour)....we are not museum people...so would not require too many visit inside places.....so would we be better off with the Freedom ticket? We are only in Copenhagen for 48hrs.

Thanks

I%26#39;m thinking of getting the freedom ticket as well but there isn%26#39;t too much information on their website, like what it covers and operation time and where to buy. I think if the HOHO bus covers most attraction area then CPH card might not be as useful other than the airport and Tivoli.
