Out-of-town hotel help!

I%26#39;m hoping someone can help me with this problem I have -- my husband and I are going to be %26quot;road tripping%26quot; thought Denmark and want to spend two nights in Copenhagen. But we%26#39;re on a tight budget and need a place where we can park the car... I realize this will be next to impossible in the city center, so we%26#39;re willing to stay in a bland, out-of-the-city hotel, so long as there is easy transportation into the city itself.

But I%26#39;m really not sure how to find such a hotel on the outskirts of town (and, is it like Paris, where the outskirts are a bit dodgier, or are they OK?)

Any help, or suggestions, would be greatly appreciate.

The outskirts of any town or city in Scandinavia are usually very nice residential areas. For the most part, convenient public transportation to the downtown area should be nearby.

Try have a look at this:

www.scandichotels.com/en/Hotels/…

All Scandichotels are very nice standard and reasonable priced.

All of the hotels in the map are in Copenhagen and it%26#39;s suburbs - and You have very easy access to the city from everyone of them both in car and by public transportation.

Scandic eremitage: 15 mins. in car to centre.

Scandic Glostrup: 20 mins -||-

Scandic Hvidovre: 10 mins. -||-

These 3 are in the suburbs, which by the way are nice, safe and clean places. The other Scandichotels are inside what We call citycentre.

Take a look at Scandic Sydhavnen though - allthough it%26#39;s inside Copenhagen citylimits, and very centrally placed, It%26#39;s pretty easy to find a parkingplace there.

But also try and contact some of the others in the centre, to ask about the parkingoptions nearby - maybe some of them have guestparking - it%26#39;s very likely.

If I should choose one outside citlimits, it would be Scandic eremitage - it%26#39;s placed just north of Copenhagen in beautiful surroundings, and only a few kilometers from some of the best beaches in Denmark.

Have a nice holiday - hope You%26#39;ll enjoy Your time here - I%26#39;m sure You will ;)

Also take a look at Scandic Sydhavnen
