Week end destinations from Copenhagen

Hi All

I will be joining my wife who is working in Copenhagen.I will join her for a month long visit starting Aug 1st week to Sep-09 1st week.

The fact that she will be working in the week days we will be left with the only option of traveling only over the week ends.

I will be applying for a schegen visa just to visit all great european locations.

We will visit all scandinavian locations and apart from that our personal desire is to visit Rome,Venice,Athens, milan,Paris,Berlin, brussels, amsterdam, vienna, swiss alps.I am not sure it will really work out or not.I would like to visit all the landmark locations .

On the way back I would like to come via London to Dubai.

Could anyone tell me how do i plan such a trip when mostly i can visit all these places only over the week end. Also everytime i go to a new country i know i will have to come back to denmark to be with my wife.

so all experienced travelers pls give me some idea on how do i plan to visit such places.

Thanks

Deep

Well - that would take me several hours to plan a trip like that. It%26#39;s really a lot of travelling to do, and it%26#39;s a big task planning it all, so unless You got the time to work Your way through the net Yourself to piece the things together, I suggest that You contact some travelagencies that specialices in costum trips, and get them to help You out.

Just to make sure I understand this - you have approximately one month with four, or maximum five, weekends available during that time. But you%26#39;re listing TEN destinations that you want to visit during those weekends! Even though you could technically (timewise) visit all of these places during a weekend, the amount of traveltime wouldn%26#39;t give you but so much time in any of these places. Some of them, like Berlin and Amsterdam would be feasible because the traveltime (flying) would be less than going for instance to Athens. But, since you%26#39;ll be in Scandinavia, why not use the weekends to explore: a) Copenhagen and surroundings, and b) other places in Scandinavia that you can easily get to over a weekend? And save all the other destinations for another trip when you%26#39;ll have the time needed to explore and enjoy those cities/places?

Thanks for the messages,i appreciate your time,

For me coming back to Europe again would be an uphill task,I will have to some how make it, at least some places like Paris,Rome,Venice, florence somehow.Could you tell me how much time is required in all these places to cover important tourist spots.

Thanks again for all your help.

People visit major cities like Paris and Rome and spend a week there (each city). If you feel that it may be a long time before you get back to Europe, and you want to go thru the time and expense to make weekend trips to some of these places, that%26#39;s obviously your choice but these will be %26#39;lightning visits%26#39; and you%26#39;re just going to touch the surface of what there is to see.

IF you decide to do this, then the only feasible option would be for you to leave Copenhagen on a Friday afternoon/evening flight, to Paris for instance. And then return to Copenhagen as late as possible Sunday evening. That would give you all day Saturday, and at least a half day Sunday for sightseeing. I think you should rule out Athens. That%26#39;s too far away, and probably also very few convenient flights.
