Late night walking or public transit in Copenhagen?

I%26#39;ll be in Copenhagen for a couple days and am interested in a concert in the Christiana area. If my lodging is back more in central Copenhagen or near the train station will if be safe to walk back to my lodging from Christiana at 1 or 2 AM? Does the public transit run that late?

Or would I be better off to find lodging in Christiana and walk or take transit to central Copenhagen, airport, or train station?

I%26#39;ve done that, and while it can feel a bit dodgy in/around Christiania after dark, just use common sense and head for the Christianshavn metro station. They%26#39;ve recently extended metro to 24 hour service. Be aware that late night rates are double the normal rate.

I%26#39;m often going to concerts/arrangement/happenings at Christiania, in places like Månefiskeren, Den Grå Hal, Nemoland, Bastionen aso.

It%26#39;s perfectly safe out there, but You know, crazy poeple can be found everywhere if one is unlucky, but it%26#39;s just as safe as any other part of the City that time a night.

Maybe there%26#39;s a chance I will attend the same concert as You?! If so, You%26#39;re more than Welcome to hang out with us, who is a nice bunch of happy guys:o)

In relation to Your question, it will offcourse be more save to be in a group than alone....

You are welcome to write me a PM with Your details and what concert/date Your%26#39;e doing. We might be able to arrange something if Your up for it?
