Question on "Clarion Collection Hotel Twentyseven"

Is this away from the red light area? Safe location?

How many minutes walk is it from a train station?

Wondering if I can walk to it from the train station with a couple of carry ons

Thanks

Your hotel%26#39;s got a great location in an area that%26#39;s perfectly safe, not in the %26quot;red light district%26quot;. It should be absolutely no problem walking from The Main Station to Your hotel in Løngangsstræde. I will say it%26#39;s a 2-300 mtrs. walk.

I don%26#39;t now anything about the hotel on a personal level , but it looks good though, and as stated, the location are based perfectly for some City exploring.

Wish You a pleasant stay here in CPH. and feel free to ask if You need anymore info/advice. May the weather be with You here.

Fantastic! Thanks JensenDK!

The walk from Central Station to Clarion Collection Hotel 27 in Longangstraede is actually 800-900 m depending on which way you prefer to walk around Tivoli Gardens. As the crow flies the distance is about 600 m.

Well, after viewing My map once more, I have to agree with Hans(as always) - I was a little optimistic about the 300 mtrs. 7-800 is more like it, however, I still consider it a small distance, which should take one no more than 5 mins. to cover by foot.

If You prefer taking a cab due to the luggage situation, You can get one right outside Main Station.

My estimate is, that it would cost You about 50DKR (but maybe Hans%26#39;s gonna correct Me on this one too:o)?)

Hans_DEN, JensenDK,

Thanks for your responses! Will walking to the hotel from the station involve going through the red light area?

|||

No, the %26quot;red light district%26quot; is on the west side of the central station and Clarion is east of the central station.

Thanks for the clarification Hans_DEN!

What other hotels (nesides the Clarion Collection 27) would you recommend for a family of 4 (including 2 kids) that are more on the East Side of the main station and away from the red light district in Copenhagen, as we will be visiting very soon for a couple of days?

Price not a factor. Convenience, cleanliness, safety are more important.

Thanks for all your advice.

Have a look at hotels like:

Copenhagen Marriott

The Square

Admiral

Imperial

Thanks Hans.

We will be coming by train from Stockholm to Copenhagen Central Station - København H.

Is the Copenhagen Marriott walking distance from the train station? How many minutes walking to the Marriott?

Thanks much again.
