Stockholm or Copenhagen as design city

Hello,

I am planning my time in Scandinavia this summer and have a specific interest in contemporary design. In your opinion, does Stockholm or Copenhagen have more to offer in terms of contemporary architecture, museums, and designer activity? From my readings it seems both cities have great things to offer but not clear where the higher concentration is and how to weight my time...

Thanks!

I would definately say Copenhagen - and Malmø.

There%26#39;s a new library wing, a new opera, a new broadcast facility with one of the most fantastic concert halls you%26#39;ll ever see.

There%26#39;s the bridge to Malmö - Turning Torso - the tallest and most special building in Northern Europe and the whole neighborhood around the torso.

There%26#39;s the Metro system in Copenhagen - the harbour front and Ørestad with the worlds most livable building.

All very contemporary.

Then there%26#39;s older stuff - like Bella Vista north of Copenhagen by the famouse architect Arne Jacobsen.

When it comes to museums - The Design Center - Kunstindustrimuseet - Ordrupgård - Arken and Louisianna.

Lot%26#39;s of this stuff is presented here:

Ask if you want to know anything more about the places I%26#39;ve mentioned.
