Taxis & Tipping

Will be there in a week! A few questions:

1) Do taxis take U.S. credit cards (MasterCard, etc.)?

2) Is tipping for a taxi ride generally expected?

3) Are ATM machines plentiful in places around the city centre?

4) Do restaurants and gift shops accept U.S credit cards?

1) Yes. You have to tell the driver that you want to pay by card before the journey.

Hi

I just want to add that you often nedd a pincode in Scandinavia if you use at credit card. And that some places will charge about 4-5 % using a creditcard - just to warn you :-)
