I am in Copenhagen for 1 day in August (a cruise stop) and would like to see the tollund man and some superb examples of amber that I understand are in the Silkeborg museum but I can%26#39;t find out how far this may be from the port in Copenhagen and whether we could walk there. Anybody any ideas??

Silkeborg is 3 and a half hour by train from Copenhagen in another part of Denmark one island and a magnificent bridge away.
It might be possible to do it in one day if you dock early and leave late.
Let me know if you need futher information about getting there.
