Copenhagen

We will be in Copenhagen for two days in August. I read about the CHP card postings. It is still worth it as the trip from the airport to the center of the city alone is $40.00. Also I understand this card gives discount at various restaurants.

Question: Given such a short time of our stay can anyone give me some idea about what is really worth seeing in Copenhagen in these two days? We do not want to go Tivoli as I am told that it is a smaller version of Disney. We will be staying at the center of the city and would like to use public transport as much as possible.

Thanks.

Please don%26#39;t write off Tivoli as a smaller version of Disney, for a start there are no people dressed up as cartoon characters! It is more like a traditional fun park with emphasis on the lights and fireworks and has an almost old fashioned feel to it. Have a look at the website to see for yourself http://www.tivoli.dk/composite-3351.htm I think it is a great place to spend the evening.

There are lots of restaurants in Tivoli too, not just burger bars etc. Also the Tivoli boys guard perform a musical parade which is like a mini military musical march which is quite unique I think.

thanks a lot. That was very informative from all replies. One of our friends visited last year and gave us this idea.
