Getting Oriented

We will be in Copenhagen for the day in early August on a cruise ship. We plan to purchase a combination HOHO bus ticket and canal cruise. My questions are:

Will we need to take the bus from one place to the next to walk down Stroget, go to the Round Tower, and get our canal cruise? Or are these attractions all very close to each other?

Is the canal cruise that is part of the HOHO tour a %26#39;round trip%26#39; tour, or does the cruise begin at one point and end at another point?

We plan to take the Mermaid Line tour - approximately how long does it take to ride this route if one were to stay on the bus and simply ride the complete route?

Where is Nyhavn in relation to Stroget?

Thanks!

Not sure of all the questions, so will touch only those I can answer:

Strøget, Round Tower and Canal Cruise are all very close, though the last one has a few possible start points. One of them is at Nyhavn which is just at the northern end of Strøget. To walk from Nyhavn to the Round Tower via Strøget will probably take some 15 mins but it has the sights and shops along the way so the walk is really part of the sightseeing. Most cruises are round trips if just booked at the boat. Not sure about the HOHO tour.

Don%26#39;t know about the Mermaid line tour but the mermaid is very close to town. Depending on where your cruiseship moors it could also already be very close to the mermaid. To put things in perspective - my office is 10 mins walk from the mermaid and I regularly walk home past Nyhavn, Strøget, town square in 40 mins or so.

Also, when going on the canaltour, You will sail very close by the Mermaid, and the foto ops are great from seaside.
