Hotel Nebo ..is this an ok hotel & area to stay in

Hi I was looking at Hotel Nebo to stay in as it is very close to the train station. Has anyone stayed here? Is it in a safe area?

Are there other hotels close to the Central Train station that are better for about the same price or a bit more per night? Thanks

I most certainly consider Nebo a nice place - allthough I%26#39;ve never actually lived there(so I can%26#39;t talk 1.st hand about their service. But judged from the looks and the known standard it%26#39;s a good place.

The location is in deed in top - You cannot find a more well-placed hotel, right in the %26quot;ground-zero-area%26quot;.

I%26#39;m sure you have read some reviews of the hotel - without having stayed there it seems like a basic no nonsense place - but not a place of pampering.

But a note on the area. It%26#39;s safe - but it%26#39;s an area where you can see some shops and transactions that might offend.

So if the seedier sides of life turns you off look for another hotel. Hotel Bethel in Nyhavn has very good reviews and is in a central spot too.

We stayed at the Hotel Nebo last July. It is a very basic hotel with a nice breakfast. It is in a great position, walkable distance with luggage from the train station close to Tivoli Gardens etc.

We never felt threatened at all by the area. It is good value in a very expensive city.

Did you stay in an economy room with the facilities in the hallway or did you stay in a regular room with private facilities in the room?

We stayed in the economy room with shared facilities,

It was okay, we also caravan so are used to sharing bathrooms. The rooms are very small and basic,we were very happy with the set up for the money we paid, as we only came back to the room to sleep.
