we are looking for a centrally located tavern/bar where a group (10 to 20 people) could meet for a few drinks/beers. We are all staying at different hotels near the center of Copenhagen and we are interested in doing meeting on a Monday night in mid September. Any suggestions?

As there are plenty cafés and bars in Copenhagen and most of them will be open on a monday night, it is difficult to recommend a specific venue not knowing a bit more about what kind of place you are looking for. Is it a stylish cocktail bar kind of place, is it more of an English pub or beer place or is it more of a traditional cafe, where you can also buy food if anyone need that?
At what time are you counting on meeting?

Thank you for your reply. We are interested in an English Pub type of place with a good selection of local beers and a friendly Copenhagen flavor. Not interested in high end cocktails, nor in dinner options. We would probably meet around 7:00 PM.

I have two suggestions for you:
Brewpub in Vestergade - they brew their own beer and sell other stuff too.
It%26#39;s a lovely place just off The Town Hall Square.

The other option is called Zum Biergarten - German for beergarden and is a very nice place if the weather is nice with a huge outdoor area.
It%26#39;s just off Axeltorv - the square across from the main entrence to Tivoli.
They don%26#39;t have website in English but have a nice selection of Danish and Geman beers.
