Where to stay for a couple of days in Jutland?

Hello!

We are a couple and we will be travelling by car across Denmark in August. We are going to stay in Ribe for a couple of nights. Before leaving Jutland to go to Funen we would like to spend another couple of nights in a nice place in Jutland.

We are interested to visit Den Gamle By and some museums in Aarhus, so we would like to stay in a place from where Aarhus could be a day trip by car.

Any suggestions?

A nice town or village or maybe a specific hotel in the countryside you would recommend?

If you don%26#39;t want to stay in Aarhus itself you should consider Silkeborg (42 km from Aarhus and 124 km from Ribe).

Silkeborg is well known for its beautiful nature, with the River Gudenaa and Denmark%26#39;s largest connected forest area.
