Copenhagen Question

Hello,

I am planning to fly into Stockholm, Sweden on August 21st and stay two nights. Afterwards, I would like to take a train to Copenhagen. Could anyone inform me how long the train takes from Stockholm and cost? How many nights would you stay in Copenhagen to visit major sites? Is it safe/comfortable to travel alone? Also, would it make more sense to visit Olso first before Copenhagen from Stockholm? Thank you for help and time! Much appreciated.

Hi,

The direst X2000 train takes 5-5½ hours. One-way fare is about SEK 600. Timetables and fares: http://www.sj.se/sj/jsp/polopoly.jsp?l=en

I would say minimum 3 days/2 nights will allow you to cover th major sites. visitcopenhagen.com/content/…inspiration will give you inspiration about what to see in Copenhagen.

It is safe to travel alone in Scandinavia.

If you are doing a triangular Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo, travel times will be about the same whether you visit Copenhagen or Oslo first.
