I%26#39;m also taking the September 3rd 10-day Princess cruise. Can you tell me how far is the port from Hilton Copenhagen Airport and about how much it would cost for taxi? I%26#39;m unsure of which port, Langeline or Freeport Terminal. This was the information they gave the ship leaves from Pier 245 Flex Terminal.
Also can you tell how far is the Hilton from the city%26#39;s shopping area?

The port is 13 kilometers from the airport and Hilton.
The taxi will coast 250-290 dkr - maybe cheaper if you dock early or on a Sunday.
The Hilton is 10 kilometers from the shopping area, but you can get there on the metro from the airport it takes less than 15 minutes and cost 31,5 dkr.

Just back from a cruise. The 2 piers are close together. We took a taxi from the pier to the Hilton. It cost $45. The taxis taken credit cards. Ride took us about 30 minutes...we took the scenic route( our choice) If you take the highway, it is a quicker ride. We also took the Metro/Train to and from the Hilton. It is very easy. We bought roundtrip tickets at the Hilton. 2 Tickets cost us 125K..if you buy at the train it will be 120K (hotel adds 5K, but we added the cost to our hotel bill) Ride is quick. We took the metro one way, and the train the other. Train is a little quicker. Eat in town. Hilton food is very expensive(if you can prepay for the buffet breakfast at less than $30pp buy it), and the choices at the airport are not good. Buy the Copenhagen card if you plan on see a lot of stuff...it includes the metro.

The Hilton is about 12 miles from the downtown shopping area. Taxis are about $30 US. Take the train and save. Also, the flex terminal is about 7 miles from the center of town. Cruise ships normally provide a bus there. I am taking a 10 Princess cruise from Copenhagen on July 13th. Will be glad to provide more info when I return on July 29th. the cheapest way from the airport by taxi is the scenic road, in the summertime it might be a little longer as it goes past the beach.

This is just the information I am looking for my cruise to the Baltic next May. Is the taxi $45 per person - it will be three of us - or that the overall fare? Do they accept US currency?

It%26#39;s the price for one cab ride of up to four persons.
If a cab takes dollars you can be sure it%26#39;s at a bad exchange rate for you. Change some money in the airport or use a credit card.
