I will be in Copnhagen on business in early October and have given myself just one day spare to sight see, any suggestions will be welcome and I%26#39;ll be finishing with a slap up meal, company treat so expense not a problem, any further suggestions will also be welcome as to a restaurant.

Seems you%26#39;ve already been to copenhagen before according to your travel map pins.
Anyway, take a walk along the shopping street (Ströget), and then maybe to Tivoli, its very nice to take some picture in there, and very close.
At night, maybe go to Nyhavn and eat some, before the kitchen close (around 10 o%26#39;clock).

The summer season in Tivoli ends on 20th September.
The park is open for Halloween from 9th-18th October.

I wouldn%26#39;t recommend dinner in Nyhavn. It is way too expencive, you won%26#39;t meet any locals in the restaurants and the food too average considering what you pay for.
Nyhavn restaurants are well knowns as tourist traps.
(Price example: pizza 18 euros, pasta 20 euros, beer: you don%26#39;t wanna know!)
