Oslo, Copenhagen & Stockholm

My wife and I are planning a trip to visit Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm. We want to experience both the ferry and train to experience what each has to offer. If we flew into Oslo, should we take a train to Copenhagen and the ferry to Stockholm, or ferry then train? Or train to Stockholm and ferry to Copenhagen? We can start anywhere and leave from anywhere.

There isn%26#39;t any ferry between Copenhagen and Stockholm -- only between Oslo and Copenhagen. Consider open-jaw (aka %26quot;multi-city%26quot;) flight arriving to OSL and returning from ARN. Book a cabin on the the overnight ferry Oslo to Cph., then book train for Cph.-Sto., then fly home from ARN to save backtrack time and expense.

If you can arrange your itinerary to include Bergen and the surrounding fjords, you should. Consider flight arriving first to BGO, then train to Osl. (a very scenic and worthwhile train trip, IMHO), then pick up the rest of the itinerary from there.
