Hello
Does anyone have an opinion on this hotel? Looking for a hotel in this price range that includes breakfast. Options are limited. And seem like the best of a small lot. Is the walk to the city center really just 15 to 20 minutes?
Any thoughts is appreciated.

I don%26#39;t know anything about the inside of the hotel (although I remember someone else in here saying it was fine), but location is not great. There is little to do in that area, and the hotel is right on Åboulevarden - the main artery into Copenhagen from west and the busiest and noisiest street in the city.
You are probably a 15 minute walk from where the inner city area starts, but more like 25-30 minutes from Town Hall Square.

Come on guys. I actually don%26#39;t think that the location is that bad. You can walk to the city center in 10 minutes. And if you walk 5 minutes in direction of HC Ørstedsvej/Gl Kongevej, you will find Inner Frederiksberg a quite ok area with cafees and shopping.
The traffic would bother me more than the neighbourhood.

Thanks all, especially DNIS.
I have booked the Avenue Hotel for September. A 10 to 20 minute walk is fine if I can save some money to spend somewhere else in Copenhagen. Thank you for the advice on Inner Frederiksberg.
Tak!

You will have to be a fast walker to reach the city centre (Town Hall Square+). The distance is 1.6 km.

Good choice with the Avenue where we stayed in 2006. Nothing is really all that central in Copenhagen.
The Avenue has a great lobby, seating area, nice breakfast room, flat screen TVs. I made a dreadful mistake in 2006 moving to the worst hotel in Europe a Scandic because I thought the distance from this conference hotel was an issue. It was twice the price of the Avenue and not a tenth as good. I%26#39;d much rather have stayed put at the Avenue and walked to the Scandic...even crawled on broken glass or more sensibly hired a scooter. There%26#39;s a bus stop right outside the Avenue.
