My wife and I will be in Copenhagen from December 26th through New Years 2010. I have booked a room at 71 Nyhaven because I have read that this hotel is in the area with the best restaurants, bars etc. I am concerned because I do not handle the cold very well, but still hope to enjoy my trip Copenhagen. Does anyone have any suggestions for a couple in their fifties that still pretend to be hip. Is this hotel a good choice? The reviews on TripAdvisor are so varied that it is difficult making an educated decision. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I wouldn%26#39;t worry too much about cold - it wil most likely be more damp and windy than really cold. Just bring something to keep the wind out and you will be fine.
Nyhavn 71 is in a great location - and what I%26#39;ve seen of it - reception and conference rooms are pretty cool with the exposed timber.
Well for hip people Copenhagen is just the place.
If you find yourself around Tivoli - the Christmas Market will be open - visit their amazing bar - either for a drink or just a coffee or tea in front of the fire. Do ask specifically for the bar - as opposed to the wine bar in the cellar.
In that same part of time a stroll up and down Værnedamsvej - that connects Vesterbrogade and Gammel Kongevej is lovely.

Take a tour the Carlsberg Brewery - now that beer has become hip
