Copenhagen Airport to Train Station

What is the best way to get from the airport to the train station? Is there a train or shuttle of some sort? Or would we have to take a taxi? Thanks!

Hi fromnywithlove,

There is train direct to the central station - runs every 20 min. from the airport station to Copenhagen Central Station.

Otherwise there is a metro line to Nørreport Station or Kongens Nytorv both downtown stations.

Take a look at http://www.cph.dk/CPH/UK/MAIN/ - where you can find more informations.

Welcome to Denmark - hope you enjoy it. Bring warm clothes and raingear.

Thanks! Warm clothes and rain gear? Not in July I hope...

You will never know about the weather in denmark - bring a raincoat at least.

There a is train station at the CPH airport, just walk out the building and voila!

Is there a certain place you are heading using the train?

Odense. We are thinking about stopping there for 1 night on our way to Aero.

There are direct connections from the Airport to Odense, but probably you%26#39;ll be in Odense faster by changing trains in Copenhagen C.

See www.dsb.dk for trains.

Yes, you can save maximum 5 minutes by changing train.

We are interested in getting from the airport to the central station. What is the fare in DKK? Since I was told that the taxi fare to our hotel would be in excess of 200 DKK, there must be a more inexpensive way to get there. We could always pick up a taxi at the Central Station to get to Helgolandsgade 3 (Clarion Mayfair). Thanks for your advice.

Train tickets from the airport to Central Station cost DKK 31.50 per person.

From the Central Station to Helgolandsgade 3 is a 3-4 min walk (about 300 m).

Thank you Hans for your information. Even though our hotel is only 300 meters from the Central Station, I do not know whether we would want to walk it with suitcases after flying for 10+ hours. Would it be difficult to get a taxi to go such a short distance?
