Hi,

I would assume that the University could help you with accomodation? See http://studies.ku.dk/housing/

From January till June you%26#39;ll see almost 3 different seasons - winter, spring and very early summer. You could have snow, rain, sunny days, grey days, dark days and damp days, low temperatures and high... The only advice I can give you for sure is to bring clothes (or buy them here) that will keep you warm and dry - and some for the odd warm day later in spring - the weather in April and May can be lovely - or the opposite. I guess I am trying to say that the Danish weather is totally unpredictable.

Copenhagen is a fairly safe city, also for women as long as you take care. Act as you would in any other city (avoid walking in deserted streets alone, avoid eye contact with people that seems as if they are up to no good etc... you get the idea).

Anyway, I hope you%26#39;ll have fun here and enjoy your stay - and I hope this answered your questions!

I know the university has problems in providing accommodation to all exchange students. In that case I may suggest to come to Copenhagen a little bit before your studies begin, and look for a small apartment or a large room for 2. There are rental room announcements posted also in the different campus buildings. I also recommend contacting some of the earlier exchange students from your own country that may come up with plenty of good ideas. Student networks help finding a place a lot.
