how is the airport?

We have only a one hour layover in Copenhagen arriving on Scandiavian Air flight from Washington DC then on same airline but change of planes to Zurich. Is the airport easy to navigate and with gates easy to find?

Hi,

Copenhagen Airport is a relatively small airport and easy to navigate. The signage is very good and gates are easy to find.

If SAS let you book the connection you should be OK. In case of a major delay of your incoming flight SAS will put you on the next available flight to Zurich.

... And both flights are at the same terminal (3).

I think that one hour seems like cutting it close.

You have to go through passport control in Copenhagen - it might be quick - it might be slow if other huge aircrafts from non-Schengen countries arrive at the same time.

But like Hans says, if you miss your connects there are plenty through the day.

Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is one my favorites (used to work there...). If your incoming flight is on time, you shouldn%26#39;t have any problems.

And, assuming you%26#39;re returning the same way, and IF you like chocolate, don%26#39;t miss the Anthon Berg chocolate store at the airport. I know there%26#39;s great chocolate in Switzerland, but I always stock up on Anthon Berg when I pass thru Kastrup Airport! %26quot;Plum in Madeira%26quot; is one of many favorites. Also great as a gift when you return home.
