day trip to roskilde

Hi there

Im coming to copenhagen this week and was just wondering if you could help,

I know the city is a small walking city, i have been before but this time i want to take a trip out to roskilde to see the viking ship musuem.

I dont belive the cph card covers this, so would i be best getting one of those 10 clip cards?

If so how does that work? bought at the central station ? that simple?

I%26#39;m sure that Your Copenhagen-card covers all of the zones, which is 9 zones - Actually You can go even a bit further than that. You can go all the way to Viby Sjælland.

The CPH Card covers transport to/from Roskilde, but not the entrance to The Viking Ship Museum.

If you don%26#39;t want to buy CPH Card you will need 8 clips each way. Cards can be bought many places in Copenhagen including Central Station.

Jensen is right the card does cover the transport to Roskilde, but the Viking ship museum is not covered by the card - it%26#39;s 95 dkr.

For transport a 24 hour ticket at 120 dkr is a better option than a clip card - unless you need clips to get to and from the airport then a 3-zone card would do nicely at 170 dkr.
