Copenhagen in a day with children

I am visiting Copenhagen for 1 day with 2 children aged 9 and 12 ( boy and girl ). Could you recommend any must see activities or attractions?

Tivoli should be priority #1!

Agree that Tivoli is number 1.

I see that you are only here for 1 day, if I were you I would go on a Canal Tour (if weather permits), take a walk and have something to eat in the city, walk up the Rundetårn (Round Tower) and go to Tivoli in the late afternoon...

If the weather is good you could buy some sandwiches and make a lunch stop in Kongens Have (King%26#39;s Gardens) instead of going to a cafe/restaurant.
