I am studying abroad in Copenhagen and I would like to go to this Island. Could someone help me out and let me know what there is to see there and how do you get there? Do you know of a tour company that will book this trip?

Samsø is a beautiful spot to visit with some of the most exciting nature to discover in Denmark, small, cosy villages like Ballen with its fishing port and lively cafescene after dark, Nordby is another remarkable village on the northern part of the island, once voted the most beautiful village in all of Europe, I believe. Catch the train from CPH to Kalundborg, the ferry ride across to Samsø takes a few hours, bring your bike for transport - can go on the train and ferry. Visit: www.samsoeturist.dk for more detailed info. You should be able to arrange all on your own, its easy with the aid of the tourist bureau on Samsø. Have a good journey! (Used to live on Samsø some years back!)
