Euro or DKK

Is the only form of currency the Denmark Kroner or may I make purchases with Euro or US currency? I will only be in Copehagen for one day.

Hi,

The currency is Danish Kroner. Some shops/restaurants/taxis will accept Euros or Dollars, but at a rate that is very unfavourable to you. Most shops/restaurants/taxis accept plastic.

Also the way it works is a shop will only take your euro or dollar notes and then give you change in dkr, at the appalling exchange rate.

Thanks so much for your response. I was getting conflicting stories from the travel agents. I will definitely get DKK.

The exchange rate isn%26#39;t that bad, though it is unfavorable. Better to draw cash from the ATM.
