Why all hotels fully booked week of 9 June?

I was only able to book a room in the Hotel Loven because every other hotel was fully booked for this period.

Is there a special festival or other event in Copenhagen that week that I should be aware of?

I had the same problem with accommodation and have been told by various hotels that there is a large conference being held during that week.

oops, I%26#39;m one of the guilty ones occupying a room during that week for the conference!! Looking forward to going....

YESTERDAY we were told we were double booked! Now we have to find alternative arrangement at short notice, we booked it way back in March and now this has cause a real frustration, we have booked flight and concert tickets, and now we are having to travel in to the city via Malmo!
