Copenhagen parking zones

Hi guys,

one quick question. We%26#39;ll be travelling through Copenhagen in July and were wondering if it%26#39;s possible to park in the grey zones without having to pay anything? We%26#39;re planning on staying for two days, unfortunately not on the weekend. Would be great if someone could give some advice.

It is possible to park in the gray zone, but be aware that Copenhagen surrounds another city - Frederiksberg - it shows up as a gray zone on the Copenhagen parking maps.

Frederiksberg has restricted parking too - so to be safe you need to park somewhere on Amager perhaps close to a metro station.

Be sure to empty you car - take away gps equipment and so on to not tempt anybody to do a break in.

Thank you Andreadoria! It%26#39;s good to know about Frederiksberg, otherwise I would have never thought of that since I was just looking at the picture of the parking zones online.
