Copenhagen to Malmo Sweden - Cost of taxi each way

We will be in Copenhagen this June and I understand we can take a taxi from Copenhagen and go over the Orsund bridge to Malmo Sweden.

I would like to know what the fare would be from Copenhagen to Malmo and from Malmo back to Copenhagen.

Also any tips on what to see in Malmo for a few hours.

Thanks in advance for any information

It will cost you around 1.000 dkr. each way.

Instead you should ride the train - it%26#39;s easy, safe, clean and comfortable. Price around 120 dkr.

Thanks for you quick reply. Wow what a difference.

Taxi 1000 dkr = 178.22 USD

Train 120 dkr = 21.39 USD

Reason for the taxi was to see the Orsun Bridge. Sounds like the train will be best.

The train uses the bridge - it goes under the hanging part.

If you want to cross on top, there%26#39;s a bus crossing too:

It%26#39;s even cheaper - will take you across and back for 120 DKR.

Thanks for you interesting reply. I think the bus would be the best for us since we will go over the bridge.

I have one more question:

We will be docked in Copenhagen, is the bus stop very far from the pier? Also when we are in Malmo will it be easy for us to find the return bus to Copenhagen?

Thanks

Hi,

Cruise ships dock at 2 locations - Langelinie pier and the Orientbasin pier. To answer your question you need to supply date and name of cruise ship.

We will be on the Azamara Journey, June 30 2009

|||

Hi,

If you ask about where Azamara Journey will be docking it might be OT in this thread.

Azamara Journey arriving from Stockholm will be docking at Copenhagen Freeport (Kronloebsbassin).

May I ask wht are the things we can see in Malmo. Our ship is docked in Copenhagen Malmo Port Emerald Princess and we want to find out if we can still go around in Malmo to visit places for 4 hours thank you very much

|||

Hi,

The Emerald Princess is not docking at Malmo, but at Copenhagen Free Port - quay 245 (Kronlobsbassinet).

A trip to Malmo within your available 4 hours is too tight, so better look for somewhere to go in Copenhagen.
