We will be renting a car in August (on a Wednesday) and driving from Copenhagen to Helsingør for a scenic day trip along the coast. We will be stopping along the way at the Louisiana Art Museum and the Karen Blixens House.
Could someone please recommend a good seafood restaurant for the day trip, whether in Helsingør or along the way.
Thanks for your help.

It%26#39;s a very good idea You got there. I suppose You%26#39;ll take the %26quot;Strandvejen%26quot; up to Helsingør(or %26quot;Elsingore%26quot; as some say). You%26#39;ll drive alongside the %26quot;Øresund%26quot; bay, and in normal clear weather, You can see the coast of Sweden.
There are lots of really nice(and also expensive) restaurants on the route, but I%26#39;m not very familiar with their menus.
I%26#39;ve been searching the net though, and these serves seafood, and also other food:
Restaurant Kronborg Havbad
Strandpromenaden 6
3000 Helsingør
Tlf.: 49202045(danish)
Madam Sprunck - Stengade 48 - 3000 Helsingør - T: 4926 4849(danish)
Hotel %26amp; Casino Marienlyst A/S
Ndr. Strandvej 2
DK-3000 Helsingør
Phone: +45 4921 4000(gourmet)
These 3 are all situated inside Helsingør.
If the weather is good, I%26#39;ll reccomend that You just stop at one of the many restaurants along the way - find a place with a good view.
Have a nice trip, and may the weather be with You.

Rungsted havn (directly across from the Karen Blixen house - you can%26#39;t miss it!) has a number of restaurants and a very charming atmosphere. We have been to Nokken and a few others in there - It%26#39;s a bit pricey in there, but also quite scenic. There%26#39;s a board walk that you can walk along. You should take a stroll through there after you do the Karen Blixen house to see whether there is anything that suits you. Copenhagen to Helsingor along Strandvej is a great day trip. Have fun!
