Hello again
With our trip looming next wk, I was checking over the transport info I have and have got myself confused....
I know this is a mundane question, but would be very grateful for help.
Could someone please advise the best mode of transport from the airport to Nyhavn.
The metro info I have advises to take Met 2 to Kongens Nytorv St and then a 7 minute walk. This is fine, but with 2 large suitcases not ideal.
The hotel advises to take bus no. 15 from Central station to Konngens Nytorv and again I guess there would be that walk?
If someone could help I would be really grateful. The more detail the better (Idiot%26#39;s Guide!%26#39;) Where to get tickets, where to go, what should I do - if you can hold my hand that would be great!
thanks

Lisa,
Exactly where%26#39;s the hotel? Nyhavn is right next to Kongens Nytorv - less than a 7 minute walk for the most part.
Too far away to hold your hand - LOL!
Aloha!

Hotel Bethel, Nyhavn 22?
The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is to take Met 2 to Kongens Nytorv St and then walk to the hotel. The journey planner says 7 min, but the distance is about 360 m. Cross the road towards the Royal Theatre and continue until you reach Nyhavn. Turn right (keeping the canal on your left side) and continue until you reach the hotel. You can try and hail a taxi outside the metro station.
Bus 15 is going from Central Station to Kongens Nytorv. Did you ask the hotel for directions from the airport?
Buy your tickets at the airport - either at the counter or from a ticket machine.

Sorry Hans, forgot to say Yes, the the hotel did give me the directions from Central Station.
I think the metro would be the best option and am glad to hear that the walking bit may not be very far.
I like the walk, but am a bit clumsy armed with a large red suitcase !
thanks again - can%26#39;t wait until holiday time!

I just wonder whether you asked for directions from the airport or from central station.

I would definitely suggest to buy Politiken%26#39;s guide to Copenhagen, written by Copenhagen expert Tom Norgaard. There you find interesting stories, details and the best way to experience the city with handpicked shops, bars, restaurants, sightseeing, cheap suggestions etc.
