Is it possible to travel from Aaarhus airport to Aaarhus by train. I know that a bus service is in operation but I would like to compare the costs etc.

The nearest train station is at Kolind (10 km from the airport). Trains leave every hour at x:52 and the journey to Aarhus takes 52 min. Fare DKK 57/one-way.

Thank you very much for all this information. After reding it, I think our best option would be to travel from Aarhus airport to Aarhus by bus from the airport. do you know anything about the frequency of the departures from the airport? Also, will I need to book the bus tickets in advance? Have you any idea how long the journey is and how llong it will take. Also, do you know how much adult tickets are and chilren%26#39;s tickets ( 13 year old) ?

I would be vet grateful for you comments.

Thank you for all the information about getting from Aarhus Airport to Aarhus City. We had a wonderful time exploring the area by public transport and the Free City Bikes.The local people were very helpful and polite and we enjoyed sampling all the Danish beers/lagers and eating in and around the City Centre.
