Berlin-Copenhagen Bus Safe?

Hello!

My wife and I would like to go from Berlin to Copenhagen (and then potentially later to Stockholm-Oslo). It seems the bus is a great way to see things and enjoy a ferry ride. Most importantly, the prices beat the train/plane. Our question is: are the buses safe? In the US, it is not advisable to take them.

Thanks! (PS - posted this to Berlin forum too)

Sure it%26#39;s safe - lot%26#39;s of people like you, students and even business people because it%26#39;s fast, cheap and reliable.

Thank you! This is very helpful:)

Hi Global ING - I%26#39;ve done the R/T bus between Copenhagen %26amp; Berlin before and it was great. The ferry ride was quick and easy and a nice break from the road. The drive between Rostock and Berlin was painless - It%26#39;s definitely a cheap, fun alternative to a train/plane. Have fun.

out of curiousity, about how long is the ride on a bus?

I think it took between 5 %26amp; 6 hours and we left extremely early (pre-dawn if memory serves), so we made it to Berlin in plenty of time for a full day of sightseeing. FYI - The bus takes a ferry across the Baltic and then goes from Rosstock, Germany to Berlin. I%26#39;ve taken the bus from Copenhagen to Prague as well, but this was an overnight trip and seemed to take forever!

Depending on departure 6:45h-8:30h.

3 hours in bus + 2 hours on the ferry + 2 hours in the bus.

All in all 7 or 7.30 hours
