Copenhagen Airport to Admiral Hotel

Can anyone tell me how far it is to the Admiral Hotel in Nyhavn from the airport. Would a taxi be too expensive. We arrive at the airport at 9:25pm on Sept 14/09 (3 adults, 3 bags, 3 handbags).

Then on Sept. 15/09 from the hotel to the cruiseship dock by taxi, anybody know the cost. This would be for three adults, 3 bags, 3 handbags.

A taxi from the airport will be at most 200-225 DKR. From the hotel to the cruise ships at most 100-150 depending on what ship you are on - they dock three different places in the harbor.

You could go by public transport to the hotel. The metro will take you to Kongens Nytorv in 13 minutes and then you have a nice 400 meter walk down Nyhavn.

If if you stay on the right side of Nyhavn until you get to a bridge across then you won%26#39;t have to navigate tourists with your bags ;)

A ticket is 31,50 dkr pr. person.

If your ships leaves from Langelinie you can get there on bus line 26 from Kongens Nytorv. It%26#39;s a ride that takes about 20 minutes.

A ticket is 21 dkr. pr person.

If you choose public transport you can buy a 2 zone clipcard for 130 dkr at the airport.

It will cover both trips - and even leave you with two clips to use during your stay.

3 people will need 5 clips to get from the airport to Kongens Nytorv - and 3 clips to get from Kongens Nytorv to Langelinie.

Is the taxi fare per person or per taxi. I have never been to Europe before, so this is a whole new experience for me. So much to learn and retain.

We will have the morning and an hour or two in the afternoon before we have to make our way to the ship. Can you suggest what we could see in that amount of time. Are there nice cafes in the area where we are staying that we could grab a quick lunch or coffee.

We are on Royal Caribbean, Vision of the Sea, if that helps for what dock we would have to go to.

Thanks so much for the information that you have provided so far.

It%26#39;s per taxi.

Your cruise ship docks at the Freeport and I suggest you go by taxi then.

Your hotel is right downtown on the famous Nyhavn stretch of the harbor.

You%26#39;ll have no difficulty in finding somewhere for coffee and lunch.

If you want to try traditionel Danish lunch Told og Snaps is a good place and very close to your hotel.

It%26#39;s at Toldbogade 2.

What are your interests? Shopping? Then just walk across Kongens Nytorv at the end og Nyhavn and go down Strøget which is the pedestrian shopping area.

If you want to see the Crown Juvels they are at Rosenborg Castle - you go down Gothersgade after crossing Kongens Nytorv - go through the park for the final bid.

If the weather is nice a habor tour is a nice way to do sightseeing - and you get to see the little Mermaid up close.

Two different companies depart from Nyhavn.

Youre also right next to the Royal Palace and the changing of the guard at 12 is a very popular display among tourists.

Changing of the guard followed by lunch at Told %26amp; Snaps and a little shopping on Strøget ending up with a cup of coffee or a beer in Nyhavn could be your ittinerary.
